Key features include a computer-based control and data acquisition system, accommodation for wet clutch types, a 75 HP VFD controlled input drive motor for engine simulation, a 75 HP VFD controlled output drive motor for transmission simulation, automatic mating and connections via clamping and positioning servo slides, a full HPU with oil conditioning, variable speed AC drive/load with regenerative capability, bar code or RF tag input, automatic fill and drain of hydraulic oil, flexible fixturing for multiple models, and serial number pinstamp etching.

Tests include drag torque, lube flow, leakage, torque versus engage pressure charting and validation, clutch engage/disengage hysteresis, and noise and vibration.
