Our Heavy Duty EPA Chassis Dynamometers provide precise speed and load simulation conditions on the test article. Integrated into the customer-supplied test environment, the system is installed above floor level. Gearboxes are mounted onto a main torque reaction frame using the customer-supplied overhead crane and held in place with a fixture or restraint system utilizing reusable mechanical components.

The system then simulates full-load conditions in speed and power control modes based on the specimen under test, allowing the gearbox to experience the same forces as it would in the field while monitoring temperatures, pressures, and accelerometers, and operating oil pumps and fans.
