Grand Rapids, Mich., June 10, 2025 — Ascential Technologies, a leading global provider of automated diagnostic, inspection, assembly and test systems and services across a wide range of industries, has promoted Anh Nguyen to director of software engineering and team lead of Ascentialytics under the company’s Test & Measurement Systems division. Previously, Nguyen served as associate director of software development for Ascential Technologies’ Medical & Life Sciences division, in which she was instrumental in developing and driving software best practices and processes, spearheading data collection efforts and engineering initiatives that produced significant improvements.
In her new role, Nguyen will lead and oversee the development and growth of Ascentialytics, a new data analytics and remote monitoring platform, which is a key offering of the company’s Ascential Care customer service program. As a robust data analytics platform, Ascentialytics is designed to seamlessly integrate into a wide range of instruments and equipment, enabling real-time insights and data-driven decision-making. Additionally, it simplifies the collection, storage and analysis of data, offering anomaly detection and customizable reporting.

Nguyen first joined Ascential Technologies as a senior program manager, responsible for the design, development and delivery of key commercial and medical products from feasibility to production. Earlier in her career, she developed software for Sun Microsystems and Oracle in the high-end server product lines. Before Ascential Technologies, she served as chief technology officer and vice president of software engineering at Creative Electron, Inc. in which she was responsible for overseeing engineering strategy and leading a startup software team in bringing advanced, automated x-ray imaging and inspection products to market.
Nguyen holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, San Diego.
