Robots are becoming increasingly important within automation system concepts. Against this background, Kleinknecht has created the prerequisites to offer integrated solutions via robotics applications.
H. Kleinknecht & Co. GmbH has designed a concept to integrate robot applications into an electrical control concept. Within the control system, data is processed and displayed on screen. By entering a recipe on the screen the data is transmitted to the control system. Here, the data is processed and transmitted to the robot in the form of an instruction protocol.
This recipe concept was first implemented with a brushing machine. With robot applications customers can change their products quickly and ensure fast and easy process adjustment on the screen. This unique concept has proven to be successful as early on as the commissioning phase. Project adjustments were carried out in no time at all without the need to enter into the depths of robot programming. Similar concepts can be conceived with many applications, together with robots.
