Ascential Technologies Hires Alex Herrera as Regional Director of Aerospace & Industrials in the Americas

Shelby Township, Mich., February 10, 2026 — Ascential Technologies, a leading global provider of automated diagnostic, inspection, assembly and test systems and services across a wide range of industries, has hired Alex Herrera as regional director of Aerospace & Industrials in the Americas. Herrera will focus on driving growth, providing exceptional customer relations and bolstering partnerships in the North American market.  

Herrera brings extensive service and advanced technology experience to the regional director position. Most recently, he served as director of services for TRUMPF North America, a role he was promoted to after serving as head of technical services for the company. While at TRUMPF, he was responsible for laser technology and additive manufacturing in North America, as well as overseeing technical service and spare parts, operational processes, group performance and development, quality and more. Additionally, in his previous roles, he placed a prominent focus on customer satisfaction.

Prior to TRUMPF, Herrera worked at Hoffmann Filter Corporation as a service manager for nearly nine years, where he provided the highest level of customer service and care, managed service team members, developed lasting customer and vendor relationships, and audited customer service initiatives. He also was previously a production manager for Hoffmann Filter Corporation.

Herrera earned a degree in Industrial Engineering from the Technological Institute of Ciudad Madero, Mexico.
